Oof. Kleber-Diggs’ Coniferous Fathers reached down my throat and pulled it all out, root and stem. I cried before coffee, which happens rarely, but not never. Read it aloud to my husband, who sat across the room while I struggled through it, as men do, but then swayed my way, kissed me and said, Will you send me that, as men rarely do, but not never, I guess.
