I appreciate Zagajewski’s second line in reading the 2 sentence fragments together. There is the reality of the time passing after our deaths. There is also the subjective experience of time whereby one afternoon feels like 50 years or so. I hope to be grateful/mindful in my experiences of time regardless how of how long or fast an hour/year feels.
